DESCRIPTION:Between Ruins and Castles Event\n\nAnother year has passed\, and it’s time for us to get together again for an event of knowledge and friendship\, covering many kilometers on mountain bikes\, and discovering new castles.\n\nOur event\, “Between Ruins and Castles” \, consists of two stages\, cycling over two days and covering several kilometers on mountain bikes\, taking us to discover the history and beautiful castles and ruins of our country\, guided by GPS in total autonomy\, in a spirit of conviviality and leisure.\n\nStage 1\n(September 19\, 2026): Monforte – Castelo de Vide (passing through Alegrete and Marvão) approximately 77 km (1700 D+)\n\n\nStage 2\n(September 20\, 2026): Castelo de Vide – Monforte (passing through Crato and Alter do Chão) approximately 90 km (1100 D+)\n\n\nCastles to visit\n– Castles of Alegrete\n– Marvão Castle\n– Castelo de Vide\n– Crato Castle\n– Alter do Chão Castle\n– Alter Pedroso Castle\n– Cabeço de Vide Castle\n– Monforte Castle \n\nMedia Places of Passage\n– Santa Maria de Flor de Rosa Monastery\n– Alter do Chão Stud Farm\n– Apartadura Dam\n– Sulphur Hot Springs\n\nOvernight stays between the two days will be at the Hotel Sol e Serra – Castelo de Vide \, where dinner will be served on Saturday (September 19\, 2026) and breakfast on Sunday (September 20\, 2026)\, both buffet style\, with various services included (bar\, heated pool and gym).\n\n \n\n\nREGISTRATION and List of Registered Participants  (click)\n\n\n\n\n\nNote: Before registering\, please read the event rules (click to view).\n\n\n\nJoin our next tour!
