Is the platform open to everyone?
Yes! Our map is built by the community. Anyone can add new locations, rate spots, and write reviews. You have full ownership of your contributions — you can edit or delete them at any time. Your insights will remain visible on the map as long as your account is active.
Do I need an account to browse the map?
You can browse the basic map and view general locations without an account. However, to interact with the community — such as rating spots, writing reviews, or adding your own locations — you will need to create a free account. This helps us maintain a high-quality, trusted environment for all riders.
Do I have to pay to use the site?
No, using the map is free. Browsing locations, checking ratings, and reading reviews doesn’t cost anything. Contributing to the community is also free: regular users (non-business) can add and rate locations at no charge. (Optional: Access to exclusive “Hidden Gems” is the only part reserved for our Club Members).
Is registration required to add new locations?
Yes, even for the free “Regular User” tier, you must be registered to suggest new spots. This ensures that every contribution is linked to a real member of our community, allowing you to manage, edit, or update your locations later.
What are “Hidden Gems” and why are they paid?
Hidden Gems is a curated collection of locations hand-picked by real riders. While many places can be found on Google Maps if you look hard enough, our advantage is the scout’s perspective: we filter out the tourist traps and show you the spots that are truly worth the ride.
Access to these specific locations is a paid feature. By joining our Club Membership, you get instant access to these high-value spots with direct navigation via Google or Apple Maps. Your support allows our scouts to keep exploring new territories and adding more authentic locations to the map.
Can I add my business to the map?
Absolutely! We welcome businesses that are relevant to bike travel and the cycling industry. Your business must fit into one of our existing categories. If you believe your business is valuable to the cycling community but you don’t see a suitable category yet, please contact us through any convenient method. We are happy to review your suggestion and add new categories to support relevant local businesses.
How long does it take for my suggested location to appear?
To ensure the map remains accurate and useful, all new locations undergo a brief moderation process. Typically, your spot will be reviewed and published within 24–48 hours. You will see it live on the map as soon as it’s approved!
Can I organize group rides or events on the map?
Yes! We encourage community interaction. Both individual riders and cycling clubs can add events to the map.
- Individual Riders: Can organize small group rides or social meetups for free.
- Clubs and Communities: Can list larger events and gatherings.
Please note that fair usage limits apply to the number of active events you can post, depending on your account type. This ensures the map stays clean and every event gets the visibility it deserves. If you are planning a large-scale event or a series of rides, feel free to contact us for higher limits.
