Between Ruins and Castles Event
Another year has passed, and it’s time for us to get together again for an event of knowledge and friendship, covering many kilometers on mountain bikes, and discovering new castles.
Our event, “Between Ruins and Castles” , consists of two stages, cycling over two days and covering several kilometers on mountain bikes, taking us to discover the history and beautiful castles and ruins of our country, guided by GPS in total autonomy, in a spirit of conviviality and leisure.
Stage 1
(September 19, 2026): Monforte – Castelo de Vide (passing through Alegrete and Marvão) approximately 77 km (1700 D+)
Stage 2
(September 20, 2026): Castelo de Vide – Monforte (passing through Crato and Alter do Chão) approximately 90 km (1100 D+)

Overnight stays between the two days will be at the Hotel Sol e Serra – Castelo de Vide , where dinner will be served on Saturday (September 19, 2026) and breakfast on Sunday (September 20, 2026), both buffet style, with various services included (bar, heated pool and gym).
